Brainstorming pt.2
So the first things I had to consider were three main elements for the game design itself, considering my research, I reflected on how those elements present could be implemented considering the idea of making an immersive virtual museum experience, VR would be a very important part as it stimulates the visual aspects of human sense very well.
So these three main elements really broke down into: Interaction, Guidance and VR implementation
Interaction Brainstorm
I already knew that players need to interact with the artefacts, but how would they do so and then I thought how would the player progress through the environment, which would consider interactions either through Points or Keys.
Guidance Brainstorm
Something I also noticed was importance was how to guide the player, having a mix between visual and audio cues would be important, I could implement simple techniques such as lines or arrows, but to make something unique would be to create crowds to navigate the player to to correct destination to give it that authetic museum experience where they will be people. So in order to do this strategic placement of crowds alongside the level design would be important.
VR Implementation
This brainstorm is fairly simple to understand but one thing I realised I was missing was a theme, which is where the tricky part of this would come in, so now we have to contact some actual museums to see if they would be willing to work on this project
