Change

After much consideration, especially having talks with other members of the team, the idea of the Rangers being able to shoot the enemies Spawned by the Aliens that comes towards them gives them a big advantage and doesn’t make them pose such a threat to them in general, because they can’t even get close to Rangers at this point they are just a slighlty minor inconvience.

With that in place the Rangers should be able to feel they are in danger at all times, these enemies should be on equal footing with the Rangers so now the Rangers will no longer have guns to defend themselves, they also have to get close to beat these enemies. Now they has Laser Batons to stop the Alien forces.

This also allows the enemies to become more a presence in the game in comparison to earlier, they can get closer and can’t be stopped unless, you are a Ranger, have to get close to them to do something about it.

Next Steps

Now with this change the game should have a little more balance to the overall gameplay for both the Rangers and the Aliens. From here it’s just having it implemented and tested so it’s important to finally finish these levels.
