Ethical Documentation pt.1

Considering the scope of the project I already understood that if I was to make a reasonable good workign prototype, I needed two valueble things. Testing and a Theme.

I need to test to see if the project can be successful and to work out any bugs or problems that happen with the inital prototype and the theme is necessary to deliver the correct design methologies necessary to create this VR virtual museum.

In order to do so, I need to find test subject which could lead into a few ethical considerations and their data needed to be protected so for this I had to create a template to see whether certain individuals were understanding of the testing methods as well as implications of them giving out their sensitive data to me. This would mean I would have to safeguard all this data as well as ensure I have to correct people to test the game.

This made me develop a screener questionaire which has to be filled out by me (the researcher) as well as the participants under the guise of the University as this is a university based project, which would then be further implemented into an secure folder and organised into an excel spreadsheet later on.

What’s Next

To continue, I would need to create several pieces of documentation to ensure that participants feel comfortable during and after the testing stage and also look for potential candidates.
