The Beginning of the Endgame Pt.2 (Team-Talk Digital Prototype)
THE THEME IS PERSONAL HYGIENE
Idea 1
This was the initial idea of being a White Blood Cell that has to tackle the incoming virus that is entering the bloodstream so the WHite Blood cell will shoot Antibodies to protect itself from the virus and in turn protect the body. Considering this would be the first time making a prototype, I was simplifying the idea where I wanted it to be like enemies coming towards and you have to survive as long as possible.
Here are some elements that would be needed for the game:
Player - White Blood Cell
The player can shoot Antibodies
The player should have free movement, should be jumping around the environment
Enemies - Virus or Viruses looking creature that will try and find the player and should only be hit once to die, the amount of them should increase
Survive as long as possible
Theme - In the bloodstream
There was a little list of things that could be expanded upon to give some coherence when actually creating the prototype, but for the basic mechanics, they were well thought out.
Idea 2
This idea definitely was an ambitious one, as I wanted to create something a little unique and taking a lot of inspiration from a game know as WarioWare, well if you haven’t played it, the game is crazy fun, but considering the theme was Personal Hygiene, there were a few factors I needed to consider first before even designing them.
With WarioWare, it’s a mini game gauntlet, even in this case, I would be opting for mini-game fun rather than educational purposes, even with having themes suitable for a child, that wouldn’t be the aim of the game.
Some of the mechanics:
Timer for each challenge which can easily set up the win/loss conditions
An overall win/loss condition which leads into how many challenges out of how many the player actually won
A set amount challenges - for the prototype I only thought of maybe 3 or 4 to keep it basic
Each of the challenges that should be made, should be simple enough to play
Washing hands, needs to clean all the dirt from under the sink, there would be simple interaction and both hands would follow the movement of the mouse
Showing only the naked male torso with certain places having soap bubbles, the mouse controls the shower head as the water continuously comes out and you have to get rid of the soap bubbles to win
Brushing teeth making sure each tooth is white before time runs out, again the mouse will control the brush
Putting on deodorant in quick succession, by clicking at the right time twice, if the player is unable to do so, they lose the challenge, this one will not have a timer
Cutting nails in the right amount of time, the nail clipper is controlled by the mouse
Finally we decided on Idea 1 and incorporated that in, and we also listened who would be doing what in terms fo the team, now the team already knew that my coding knowledge was not up to form, but I would be taking an active role is overview all of them and making sure it comes together properly, so my objective was to deliver upon all the main assets for the game. I still wanted to be involved in the overall creation so I did want to go over the code as well as try some of my own in the own time during the creation of the Digital Prototype

The player has to shoot as many enemies as possible until they die
There is a timer to signify how long they have survived
The player has to stay in the confines of the level, if they fall off the level they die
So the game was fairly simple, the player has to play the game until they lose, so there is no winning condition they can only compete with other people who get a better score. The player can only lose, but that doesn’t mean it works in a fun way, the edge of the competition works.
We ended it and found out who was doing what. Pratik focused on UI, Arun was the main focusing on the AI and Dan finally with his knowledge was responsible for implementing the mechanics,
